The citizens of Rome gather around as an escaped gladiator is held on trial. As Caesar, Trentus Ducatius arrives for the gladiator’s judgement, he orders the guards to commence the torment. Connorligula begins with lashings to the bound slave’s back, before the crowd comes forward to have their way with him.
